Steve embarked on a Himalayan trek which included visiting India's exiled Tibetan community. The challenge
began and ended in Dharamsala, where the the Dalai Lama and the centre of the Tibetan community are situated, at the heart
of the world's highest mountain range.
The expedition followed the Uhl River, through rhododendron and evergreen
forests taking him through remote Hindu settlements and isolated Buddhist monasteries.
The nights were spent beside
nomadic shepherd encampments, in an old British hunting lodge and the Taragarth Palace, home to the Maharajas for centuries.
Reaching heights of upto 16,000 feet and treking upto 9 hours per day, Steve took in stunning views and met with the
Gaddis tribes who have been living unchanged in the mountains since 850CE.
The trek raised over £3000 for
